4. Dedicated Server Disclaimer
Our dedicated server range is managed using VirtFusion, providing operating system installation, rescue mode, and network configuration through a single control panel. While you receive full bare-metal access to your dedicated server, the use of VirtFusion allows us to offer consistent management across our Dedicated, VDS, and VPS server ranges without compromising the performance or independence of your hardware.
Data loss on reinstall or rescue mode. Requesting an operating system reinstall through VirtFusion will permanently erase all data on your server's primary storage. Entering rescue mode does not itself erase data, but any write operations you perform while in rescue mode can. You are responsible for taking your own backup before requesting either action — see 'Client Responsibilities' in our Service Level Agreement. We are not liable for data loss resulting from an OS reinstall or rescue-mode operation you requested.
Physical and remote access security. Dedicated servers are typically supplied with remote IPMI/KVM access, which grants low-level control over the physical machine, including the ability to reinstall the operating system or view boot-time console output. You are responsible for keeping your IPMI/KVM credentials secure in the same way you would your main account password; we treat unauthorised access resulting from compromised IPMI/KVM credentials in the same way as any other account-security incident under our Terms and Conditions.
5. Pricing Disclaimer
All prices displayed on the Site exclude tax unless stated otherwise. Our billing system calculates any VAT, GST, sales tax, or equivalent applicable to your order automatically at checkout, based on your billing location and any tax registration information you provide — see the 'Purchases and Payment' section of our Terms and Conditions for how this works. We accept payment in GBP, EUR, and USD; where a price is displayed to you in a currency other than GBP, it is an estimate based on the exchange rate at the time of display, and the amount actually charged may vary slightly depending on the exchange rate applied by our payment processor at the time of checkout.
